Adrian has been in leadership and governance roles throughout his 28 year career in engineering and infrastructure planning. His experience includes 10 years in operational and general management for a major UK waterways public corporation and 10 years with Cardno in a senior leadership position developing the engineering business and providing strategic advice on public and private infrastructure projects throughout Queensland.


Adrian’s infrastructure skills range across due diligence at acquisition, development of structure and neighbourhood plans, and technical advice in the project delivery phase for both Greenfield and Brownfield infrastructure servicing assessment. He is experienced in the development of infrastructure agreements and has a broad knowledge of local government infrastructure requirements, including Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) reviews.


Adrian has led on infrastructure advice to a range of partnerships including:

  • the Ripley Valley Taskforce - providing strategic infrastructure planning advice to local government;
  • the Ripley Valley Alliance - providing infrastructure investment advice to the development industry;
  • the Logan Water Alliance Leadership Group - providing strategic direction on program risk and opportunities across its program of capital and renewals works; and
  • Economic Development Queensland - developing whole life economic infrastructure models for the four major Priority Development Areas in South East Queensland, the RNA Showgrounds and the transformational Queens Wharf development.

Adrian has provided expert witness evidence to the Planning & Environment Court and in the UK Adrian provided expert advice to public enquiries on infrastructure development and operations.
